Do + Brew by ESA New York Feb. 2020
I was so thankful to attend the Do + Brew with Jessica Boyle on February 23, 2020. The event started with our phones both almost dying and not being able to show our virtual tickets. Luckily, we made it in, just in time. We were instantly mesmerized by all the donated clothing on racks and tables; wondering where to begin. There were lines for the few changing rooms so we just grabbed and kept going. Thankfully, they lifted the limit of 5 items per person because my hands were getting full. I even asked some of the volunteers for a bag to stuff a few other things in. Yes, a bit selfish but I hadn’t shopped for months and knew that I would need a new wardrobe for New York as I had just moved from Washington State. I found an awesome planet patterned romper with blue buttons, brown lace up boots with hand painted green leaves, a pink floral skirt with black flowers and so much more as you will see in the photographs below. They also served food, displayed Indigo natural dying and created mending stations!
We had so much fun and would do it again in a heart beat!
Here’s a few more details about the food, curated racks and raffle prizes from the original Eventbrite Page:
