Essentials for the Face and Body For the Every Day Routine

Everyone’s skin is so different! I want you to know that these things worked for me. Sometimes I add the Oils and other times, I just love the coconut smell and benefits of the oil. Just being Honest!

Natural Face Wash:

+3 Tablespoons of Coconut Oil

+3 Tablespoons of Baking Soda

+5 Lavender Young Living (YL) Essential Oils

+5 Frankincense YL Essential Oils

Mix altogether in a bowl with steel spoon and then store in glass container. Use at any time of the day depending on your routine. Choose to use Essential Oils or Not depending on what benefits your seeking (check below for skin care ingredient benefits)

Deodorant:

+1 cup of Coconut Oil

+1/2 Cup of Tapioca or Arrowroot Flour

+1/3 Cup of Baking Soda

+3-5 drops of Lavender YL Essential Oils

+3-5 drops of Lemon or Lime Essential Oils

Mix well in a glass bowl and then transfer to glass jar or deodorant shaped container. You will have to use your fingers to apply the deodorant if you place in glass jar. Also, if the mix is not thick enough then it may not stay in a deodorant shaped container very well. Also, feel free to make smaller batches of the deodorant!

“Don’t melt the coconut oil or it won’t mix well with the tapioca or arrowroot flour. [if you have sensitive skin, change out the baking soda for arrowroot powder]”

Moisturizers:

Coconut Oil

Fill thick plastic or glass container with oil and apply after you wash your face.

Or my other favorite is:

Bee in Bloom (For Use on Acne)

+Beeswax

+Coconut Oil

+Olive Oil

+Aloe Vera gel

+10% Benzoyl Peroxide

+Honey

+Jojoba oil

+Argon oil

+Red Raspberry Seed Oil

+Goldenseal

+Echinacea

+Lavender Oil

+Teatree Oil

I’ll share with you the ingredients. I have to experiment with measurements to see if I can get something close to what they use to provide as they shut down. This was the best thing to kill my acne! I had the worst problem and I tried Proactive and other face products that either burned or hurt my face. A product shouldn’t hurt your face but should be relaxing and easy on the skin.

Literally, now whenever I have a small breakout, I just use a little at night after I wash my face and then the next morning it diminishes in size or disappears. It’s God’s little miracle to your face:)

Coconut Oil:

+“The medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil have antimicrobial properties that can help protect against harmful microorganisms.

+This is especially important for skin health, as many types of skin infections, including acne, cellulitis, folliculitis and athlete's foot, are caused by bacteria or fungi…”

-(It Can Kill Harmful Mircoorganisms, Healthline, 2017)

Honey:

+“Raw honey is packed with components beneficial for your skin, especially if you have acne or autoimmune skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis. Even Candida overgrowth may be controlled by applying honey to your skin.

+Raw honey helps balance the bacteria on your skin, which makes it a great product to use for acne. Manuka honey has been studied as an anti-acne product and found to be significantly more effective than other popular products.

+Honey speeds up your skin cells’ healing processes. If you have blemishes or an eczema outbreak, honey that’s unpasteurized could speed healing and reduce inflammation. Manuka honey is so effective at healing wounds quickly that it’s now used by doctors in clinical settings.

+Raw honey is also a natural exfoliator, which means applying it to your face takes off dry, dull skin and reveals new skin cells underneath.”

-(Benefits of using honey for the face, healthline, 2017)

+“Honey is unlikely to cause an allergic reaction in most people. You should use any of these remedies with caution if you have any known allergies to:

+pollen

+celery

+bee venom

Always test new products on a small area of your skin that’s minimally visible to see if you’re allergic.”

As I write this, I wanted to share with you that I’m not currently selling Young Living Essential Oils. I was at one point but then gave it up when I had some financial issues arise. I’m hoping to either get back into it or to find something else to invest my time and energy when the income comes in again.
